Victoria Secret fashion shows are known for their fashion models (the angels) and the famous Victoria Secret bra but what is never taken into consideration is the show itself.
Not even a full two minutes into the show the first model comes strutting down the runway wearing lingerie which is to be expected, but what isn't expected is the Chinese dragon wrapped around her. Victoria Secret are known for their models to be wearing angel wings and each one will wear a variety of angel wings as they become a Victoria Secret angel. The models don't just strut the lingerie that will be sold in stores they strut cover-ups and they add sequins, floral, etc that will never see a day in the market. Why add the extras if it's never going to be sold? The cover-ups and the extra detailing add to the glamour of the whole event.
The show has constant changing backgrounds. At first it starts out with the Chinese dragon to match the first model and later it switches to look almost astrological. As the show continues the scenery keeps changing.
The fashion show had three different performers. Lady gaga started the crowd off with her song a million reasons. The weekend and Bruno Mars also performed. They sounded amazing and their music had the crowd pumped. Then lady Gaga returned to wow the crowd not only with her vocals but by sprouting dark angel wings after she had finished singing. It was jaw dropping.
Finally, as any good runway show should end, the models walked down the runway one last time together with confetti raining down on them.

#5 Store Windows
At the Staten Island Mall not all the store windows were eye catching. Some were lack luster and lacked the creativity to attract me into the store but that was only a small few. The majority of the store windows were vibrant and it was as it they beckoned for customers to come in to enter.
BeBe:

The store Bebe utilized the entire store window to its fullest potential which in turn showcased their merchandise. The clothing worn by the mannequins captivated the audience by showing a feminism mixed with rebellion.
White House Black Market:
White House Black Market had a more sophisticated look. Before entering the store it was easy to tell that that their clothes were for the young working woman who didn't want to look overly severe.
Charlotte Russe:
Charlotte Russe windows attracted my attention because of its youth. The store, as opposed to Bebe and White House Black Market, is made for young women under the age of twenty-five. The mannequins in the store window showcase their target market by having the clothes be timeless yet fashionable.
Express:
Express didn't utilize their store windows as much as the stores previously mentioned but the clothing advertised in Express showed unity. The unity was shown through the shoes, the way all three mannequins had their hands on their hips, and with how all of their tops were black with almost the same kind of silhouette.
Kara:
Kara's store window caught my attention because of how sassy the mannequins were. The mannequins were each trying to force the customers to look at them. The clothing worn by the mannequins matched their sassy behavior quite well giving the whole window a harmonious vibe.
